Yesterday afternoon we had some unexpected (and very appreciated!) rain. OK, drizzle. But we don't get a lot of water from the sky here these days so I will call it rain and pretend we are approaching normalcy.
The girls were outside playing when it started to rain and Mapi was over the moon with happiness: the day had finally come that she could go into the (new to us, thanks Abuela!) clubhouse WHILE IT IS RAINING! "Look, Mama! It's raining and we are in the clubhouse! It's my dream come TRUE!" she squealed and ran around in circles, opening and shutting windows in the clubhouse. Catherine ran after her, parroting "dream, true!".
I pulled the tee-pee over to the side of the clubhouse and set a golf umbrella up between the house and the tee pee. The girls could now go from one dwelling to the next without getting wet. OH HAPPY DAY!
